Built on Family.
Shaped by the Seasons.

Our story

Ankley Farms is a three-generation family farm located just north of Imlay City, Michigan. Long before flower fields, seasonal events, or photography sessions became part of the farm, this land was home to crops, cattle, and the steady rhythms of farm life that continue to shape it today. What began as a simple roadside sweet corn stand slowly grew into something more.

In 2020, the family expanded with a greenhouse and began sharing more of the farm directly with the community. Over time, flowers were planted, sunflower fields began to bloom, and visitors started making the drive out to experience the beauty of the land for themselves. Today, Ankley Farms continues to grow flowers, produce, pumpkins, and seasonal offerings while remaining grounded in what matters most: caring for the land well and creating a place people look forward to returning to year after year.

More Than a Farm Stand

Throughout the season, the farm comes alive in different ways.

Some visitors stop by weekly for fresh vegetables. Others come to wander the flower fields, fill buckets for weddings and events, take family photos among the blooms, or attend one of the farm dinners shared out in the fields.

Over time, those visits often become traditions.

The changing seasons are part of the experience here. No two visits feel exactly the same, and that is part of what makes the farm special. From the first flowers of summer to pumpkins in the fall and winter photo sessions as the year winds down, the farm is always changing alongside the season.

A Place People Return To

At its heart, Ankley Farms is not about becoming the biggest destination or adding experiences simply for the sake of growth.

It is about creating a place that feels real.

A place where families can slow down for an evening. Where photographers capture milestones surrounded by flowers and open skies. Where visitors reconnect with the countryside, the season, and the simple beauty of being outdoors.

As the farm continues to evolve, the goal remains the same:
to protect the atmosphere, authenticity, and sense of welcome that have made Ankley Farms meaningful to so many people already.

Looking Ahead

The future of Ankley Farms will continue growing naturally from the land and the family behind it.

That may include expanded floral offerings, more locally made foods, seasonal gatherings, and opportunities for family members to grow their own ideas alongside the farm. Whatever comes next, the intention is to grow thoughtfully while preserving the experience people have come to love.

Because at Ankley Farms, the harvest is only part of the story.

The rest is found in the fields, the changing seasons, and the people who return to share them with us year after year.
