Welcome to ankley family farm's dahlia tuber shop
We're a u-cut flower farm in Michigan. We recently added dahlias, and like our customers, have fallen in love with them. We expanded our dahlia selection this year to over 900 plants. Our tubers produced well and stored well too. We're excited to share extras! One common theme we've noticed on Dahlia sites is the concern of diseases. We sanitize cutting shears between u-cut customers but we're not sanitizing shears between plants. Because of this, we cull any plants that concern us aggressively. We've inspected all the clumps before storage for concerns and as we split tubers too.
With an unexpected hard freeze, we didn't have a chance to positively ID all the dahlia clumps, however we know enough to make sure the mixed groups of tubers have a few varieties in them (at least five different color/type of dahlias for the 25, 50 and 100 bundles and two for the 10 bundle). Need more than 100? Contact us!
If you're local and would like to come pick an order up you're more than welcome. You can also contact us and pay at pick-up. We can also set your order aside. Shipping is available using Priority Flat Rate Boxes through USPS. We're planning to ship soon as temperatures look great in the Michigan area. If you're ordering from another state where weather is a concern, please advise us when you'd like your dahlias shipped.
All pictures are ours- we promise to get better photos next year :)
