Appointments and admission required. The farm is closed except for appointments, and the farm stand building is only open for holiday markets.

Photography at Ankley Family Farm Stand 
We invite photographers to capture the beauty of our sunflower and wildflower fields, offering a vibrant backdrop for your sessions.

Our Season 
  • Our summer season will start on July 15, 2025. Hours will be:
    • ​Monday: Closed
    • Tuesday-Saturday: 10am-8pm 
    • Sunday: 1pm-8pm
  • The farm is available by appointment only before then for an hourly fee. 
  • Early to mid June is when flowers start blooming. 

Admission Details- Summer Season
  • Sunflower & Wildflower Trail: $5 per person
  • Cut Flower Field: $5 per person
  • Combined Admission: $7 per person
  • U-Cut Flower Jar: $15 (optional, allows clients to pick flowers for photography)
All individuals entering the fields, including clients, assistants, and guests, are required to pay the admission fee.

Scheduling and Reservations
  • No reservations or tickets are needed during the summer season; admission is handled upon arrival.
  • Evenings tend to be busier, with multiple photographers present.
  • Props are distributed throughout the field to accommodate various sessions.

Flower Picking Policy
  • Refrain from picking sunflowers in the photography field to maintain their availability for photography. Jars are available for purchase to pick flowers in the cut flower field. 
  • Harvested sunflowers are available for purchase at the farm stand for use in photos.

Field and Farm Rules
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors, please follow these rules:
  • Stay on designated trails to protect plants.
  • Leashed and well-behaved dogs are welcome in the sunflower and wildflower field. They are not allowed in the cut flower field. 
  • Drone photography is prohibited.
  • Boudoir photography is not permitted.
  • Respect all props in the fields; consult staff before moving any items.
  • Personal props that are easily portable are welcome.
  • The farm is open until 8 PM on operating days. Photographers wishing to stay later for sunset must arrive by 8 PM and need to depart by dark.
  • Adhere to the boundaries of the u-cut and sunflower fields.
  • Ensure all members of your party are aware of and follow these rules.
