U-Cut Flowers
We're excited to welcome you to our u-cut flower field of over 20,000 plants! From Amaranth to Zinnias and many other varieties, you'll find something you love. Dahlias and sunflowers are seasonal favorites! Enjoy abundant pollinators as you explore almost two acres of cut flowers.
For $15, you can fill a quart jar with any flowers you like. We provide the jars and the scissors. If you do bring your own scissors please sanitize them before cutting in our field. Field and farm rules are listed below and we will have suggestions for cutting flowers listed in the farm stand. Never cut flowers before? You'll be just fine! You can review some tips below.
We do accept recycled jars and offer a free packet of flower food for jars that are left at the farm stand to be recycled.
Buckets for picking flowers are available for $60. We supply the buckets. This is the best option if you have your own containers that you plan to use. We estimate that you can fit about 8 u-cut jars worth of flowers in the bucket. The bucket is 2 gallons in size. You can keep the bucket, there is not deposit on it.
If you're visiting the cut flower field only for professional photography and not picking flowers, the admission fee is $5 per person (children age 5 and under are free).

Sunflower & wildflower Trail
Gorgeous large sunflowers abound in the sunflower trail. Enjoy some time on the trail and stop to take some pictures. The trail admission is $5 (children age 5 and under are free). We have set up a variety of props near and in the sunflowers for some unique picture opportunities, but don't forget to stop and enjoy the beauty of the sunflower field.
The field is a field- we’ve tried to level the trail as much as possible but you may encounter some uneven parts. Honey bees and other pollinators will be in the field- an important part of a sunflower’s life cycle. Please be aware of this. If you don’t bother them they won’t bother you.
To keep the field stunning and bright, sunflowers are not available to cut in the sunflower trail. Sunflowers are available in our u-cut field or for sale in the farm stand. Please do not knock sunflowers over and respect the boundaries of the trail. Thanks for helping us preserve the field for all to enjoy!
Sunflowers are planted in different stages to try and have blooms available for a long period of time. Check our Facebook page for flower updates or feel free to contact us via Facebook messenger. You may also text 810-247-3680 with questions.

field and farm Rules
Thank you for following the rules to make our farm safe and welcoming for all. Photographers, please make sure your clients are aware of the farm rules.
- Please be respectful of the flowers and plants when visiting the fields. Stay on trails to avoid knocking plants over.
- Sorry, pets are not allowed. We're a working farm with livestock.
- No drone photography will be allowed.
- No boudoir photography.
- Please respect the props in the fields. Do not sit on the top of, or on the hoods of the vehicles in the fields. Do not move props without consulting someone working at the farm. Your own props, that can be easily carried into the field, are welcome.
- We're open until 8pm days the farm stand is operating. We understand that sometimes the best time for pictures is in the evening. We will accommodate those that wish to stay after 8pm, however, please arrive by 8pm to enter the field. Please leave the fields by dark.
- Please respect the boundaries of the u-cut field and the sunflower fields.
- Everyone entering the fields will need to pay admission.
Professional Photography
Professional photographers will need to make arrangements to cover admission for their clients. Photographers will also be asked to pay the admittance fee (per person, per day). Everyone entering the fields (parents, friends, photography staff, etc. pays admission).
Photography admission
Admission for the sunflower & wildflower trail is $5 /person.
Admission for the cut flower field is $5/ person
Combined admission for both fields: $7/ person
You will need to arrange payment for admission for everyone entering the field. There are no reservations or tickets during the summer season, we operate as pay as you arrive. Evenings are generally busy and you will be sharing the field with other photographers. However, we space out props within the field. Please do not pick sunflowers in the field as our goal is to keep the flowers there for amazing photography. Harvested sunflowers to use in pictures are available for sale in the farm stand.
You can also include a u-cut jar for your clients to pick flowers for $15. This will provide flowers that can be used for photography throughout the flower fields.
Throughout the season, we keep Facebook and Instagram updated with current field conditions. This will be the best source of information.
Please review field rules and make sure your clients are aware of them as well. Thank you for helping us preserve the field and farm property for all to enjoy.
Just want to photograph the flowers and pollinators? You'll just pay admission for yourself. We appreciate you tagging us on Facebook and Instagram (we love to see your photography skills- that's one of the reasons we operate the farm stand), but it's not required.
Thanks for the interest and let us know if you have additional questions! You can send us a message on Facebook messenger, email us at [email protected], or text Joe at 810-247-3680.
